What I Do

Before The Event

I bring my unflappable style and 20 years experience as a broadcast journalist and business Event Host to become a vital part of your event planning team, lending professional opinions, tips, advice and design ideas to your planning process. And I can help prepare your speakers with presentation training.

I aim to always bring extra value to the party, and the earlier I’m booked the more you will gain.

I attend meetings with your key stakeholders and contributors, work with your agenda and produce a well-written and researched script that reflects all current trends and issues around the event subject but with the tone and message you require.

I can help with pre, during, and post-event social media promotion for example making promotional video messages, sharing content, interviewing contributors.

On The Day Itself

I run the stage, welcome the audience, and give the speakers a warm introduction. I keep the momentum high, and attendees engaged, bringing together all the different strands of your event into one coherent message.

I have an intuitive knack for engaging audiences, quickly reading the dynamics of a room and maintaining high energy levels.

l ensure the continuity of the proceedings, and moderate panels, interviews and fireside chats with an informed voice used to live interviewing.

On the day I use the script as a guide – but I don’t ‘read’ from it; and I ad-lib as required with charm and humour.

Professional and unfazed by glitches, tech problems and on-the-day dramas, I can be counted on as a team player who always goes above and beyond to help event teams deliver the best events with the wow factor for their clients.
